I have only had it a couple weeks but it works so good. I live in Co. and have fibromyalgia and this will be a blessing to me because the cold makes me hurt.Love heated mattress pads, but this one has a couple of design flaws. First, the click on the button is super loud, so if you need to change the temp and your partner is sleeping-it’s truly loud enough to wake someone. Also it needs a timer to turn off-so if you like it warm when you get in bed, but don’t want to wake up sweating, you need to turn it down before you fall asleep ( but you can’t because of the loud click! ). I do think it’s brilliant that the controller is color coded-red is hot, green is warm etc. that way you don’t need glasses to read numbers. Will likely be returning :(Fits great .Heat was not uniform.The heat control was located 1/2 way down the power cord (all on the same cord!) so hung off the side of the bed about 1/2 way down the mattress. Tried the highest heat for 1/2 hour to see how it did, and was not all that warm. Additionally, the connector was on top of the mattress instead of down the bottom side as illustrated, so your foot would hit it all night. Poor design. Don't waste your money!!!While the mattress pad appeared to be fine, the cord from the pad to the controller was too short. It would hang off the side of the bed. The connection for the power is on top of the pad and might cause discomfort during sleep. Never got that far after finding the cord too short. Designers need to try real world applications prior to sending product to market.Power cord barely fits under mattress to plug in.Control cord is way to short, can’t even get it to fit on nightstands.Heating is very un uniform.Bad purchase.Doesn't get very warm
