I read lots of reviews on dozens of Egyptian cotton high thread count sheets before I decided on these. I wanted sheets that felt like those at high-end hotels (I stay at quite a few on business trips). These sheets feel BETTER than the ones at the high-end hotels and at a fraction of the cost. Soft right out of the package - no chemical smell. I washed them before using on delicate with a delicate detergent and dried them for about 10 minutes before hanging to dry (as recommended). I draped the wet sheets over three chairs in my sunroom. I could dry them, but read reviews about wrinkles. Wrinkles don't matter that much to me, so I'm sure I'll dry them at some point when I get tired of hanging them to dry. They were still soft even after washing.So glad I ordered these sheets! I've been searching for sheets like these for years. Don't think you can buy them in a store - at least not any I've shopped at. My husband loves them too.These sheets are sensational! My boyfriend described them appropriately as "buttery". It's honestly like sleeping in a cool, silky cloud without awkward slipping and the corners popping off like my experience with satin sheets. I was anxious to see how they washed, fearing the dreaded ironing board would be a must. I washed them in cold water on the delicate cycle and dried them on delicate as well, and they came out just fine. The only thing that could have been touched up with the iron was the hem on the top sheet and the pillowcases where the fabric is doubled over, but I just pressed it out with my hand. They have very deep pockets and fit great on my pillow top mattress without the fitted sheet coming off during sleep. I originally intended them for a 17 inch memory foam mattress and know they will be perfect for it, as well. These are without doubt the nicest sheets I have ever owned and from a wonderful shipper, too. Great purchase!I've been fussy about sheets for along time, there is just something so luxurious about slipping into super soft, high quality sheets ( and my husband just like them "soft" he has no idea what it takes to find " soft" sheets). Well these are the MOST amazing sheets I have ever bought....and the price is excellent for such wonderful sheets. I feel like royalty every night when I climb into bed, and my husband even suggested getting another set now, in case they sell out. I bought the duvet cover and shams, they haven't come in yet, but if they are anything like the sheets, I know it will love them. Don't hesitate, these are the best! Sweet dreams,PS. I plan on getting a second set of these sheets and maybe even one for our guest bedroom, I would love to know our guests are enjoying this type of luxury too.....I cannot believe how soft these sheets are. I look forward to going to bed. It is so luxurious. I had heard that they would be difficult to wash and dry, but I have had no problems as I follow the manufacturers directions. I only use cold water and Woolite to wash them, and dry them on very low heat. When they are first pulled out of the washer, they are VERY wrinkled, but the slow, low heat dryer process has them come out with no wrinkles. I make sure and fold them immediately after they are done. Because they are so soft, the bottom set tends to pull away from the mattress. I bought a set of sheet clips that allows them to move without coming of he mattress. I would HIGHLY recommend these sheets. I ordered 3 more sets.This sheet set is remarkably soft and the drape of them is quite delicious. They have a good thickness to them; I really do not like really thin sheets-they need to have some substance and body to them and these sheets definitely meet that requirement for me. I was quite nervous about buying sheets on line. But I figured I couldn't do much worse than buying them in person which is not always successful for me. We have used these sheets for over two weeks and have no complaints. There has been no pilling at all. If they do eventually pill, l will update my post. However, if you don't like wrinkles, then these sheets may not be for you. I could care less so they get a 5 star rating from me. The ends of the pillow cases come out of the dryer wrinkled, but again, not a problem in my view.If you are looking for silky and light, this is for you.But that is not what I expect from 1200TC. Is it what you expect? I expect heavyweight luxury that combines with great softness (not slippery/silky, but very very soft) and great breathability.These are very lightweight, wrinkle like crazy, and have a slippery rayon feel.I wasted not only the money on the sheet set, but also on special gentle/natural detergents per the instructions that came with it. The service from Egyptian Cotton Factory Outlet store was excellent, but the 1200TC attribute does not mean what many buyers will expect from it, so I just cannot give it more than 3 stars.Originally, I gave it 1 star, but the seller wrote to me, pleading that I give it 4 or 5 stars (even though I already gave him a 5 star seller rating). I still feel "1 star" about it, but I recognize that there may be some who have different expectations than I do.These sheets are seriously amazing! They have become my "only" set as I have plenty of other sets, however I just continue to wash these and use only them. I absolutely love them. They are soft, cool, and absolutely perfect. I love bamboo sheets and will never go back. They are well worth the money and will be ordering another set.The seller is wonderful. I had a problem originally and he responded to me immediately with a solution that was MORE THAN fair. I am absolutely satisfied and am, frankly, embarrassed that it has taken me so long to leave feedback. Judging that the top of my page states that I've left feedback on only 11 items of 550 that I've purchased, this can perhaps attest to how satisfied I am with my purchase.Feels very coarse compared to the other set of bamboo sheets that I own. Not impressed.
